NautaDutilh: A Wow Project!

When it moved within the Solaris low-energy building, the legal firm NautaDutilh wanted to review its way of working.  The new layout had to enable it to adopt a modern image, while following a less energy-hungry approach.

We zijn zeer tevreden. GLOBAL heeft de nodige ervaring om de noden snel in een concrete vorm te vertalen.

Challenges encountered

A link to the outside

NautaDutilh wanted to show its trade, remain in line with a public space, while remaining within the public domain, whilst preserving confidentiality.

Technical constraints

The open space had to meet all standards for ergonomic and acoustic comfort.

Short architectural time frame

GLOBAL’s task was to produce the maximum effect for a restricted budget within a very short space of time.

Designing something timeless

The administration functions were grouped into pools, at strategic locations, with the lawyers keeping private offices. A training room, meeting rooms, a reception area, a cafeteria and a central library, connected to the public space, gives a pleasant ambiance to the whole.

Rapid execution

The project was completed in 6 months, within budget and meeting the deadlines set, while incorporating significant technical contingencies and changes which the client wanted while the site was in place.
